DUALITIES

This is the first program of Sauti Duo, presented, among other events, during the Música Jove Series at the Diputación de Alicante Auditorium. The original idea is inspired by the contrasting temperaments of the two members of the duo, who come from different countries and were raised in different cultures, yet share common goals and passions… just as the philosophical concept of duality describes different types of souls and their complementary roles. The program is characterized by its dynamism and diversity, so each person can find “something for themselves.”

-A.Piazzolla: Historie du Tango
– A.Katny: Chain II
– C.Cangelosi: Bad Touch
– M. Bembinow: Returning Sounds
– M.Miki: Marimba Spiritual

SOUND LANDSCAPES

-Y.Raz: Pangea
– J.M. Lopéz Lopéz: African Winds II
– R. Garcia Tomás: Shadja
– M: Ryczek: Braid of Andromeda
– J. Psathas: Ukiyo

INTERIORE

This proposal is a reflection on the diversity of religions and rituals around the world. The program includes, among others, compositions influenced by Catholicism, Islam, and Buddhism. The concert title alludes to dichotomous thinking and the tendency to categorize a value system that is not our own.

– J. Psathas: Ukiyo
– A.Viñao: Khan Variations
– A. Ignatowicz: Passacaglia
– P. Vallejo: Tactus
– M.Miki: Marimba Spiritual
– J.S.Bach: Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit
